40 mm hand-held six-round grenade launcher for VOG-25 and VOG-25P rounds
The 40mm 6G-30 hand-held six-round grenade launcher is designed to destroy manpower and light weapons in the open terrain and in various shelters (open trenches, opposite hill slopes, ravines, etc.). Being simple in design, the 6G-30 offers reliable operation in any conditions. The weapon is most efficient for special police operations, especially those in urban areas.
The grenade launcher fires VOG-25 and VOG-25P rounds with fragmentation and several types of non-lethal grenades.
The revolver-type grenade launcher has a multiple barrel block, rotated by a previously loaded spring. The barrel block includes six rifled grenade launchers similar to a rifle-mounted grenade launcher. The grenade launcher is fitted with a telescopic butt. When fired at a range of 300 m the grenade launcher is rested against a shoulder, and when fired at a greater range, it is rested against a side. -

The grenade launcher is a pump-action type, breechless weapon with a top-mounted magazine and a moving barrel. It is reloaded by the movement of the forearm together with the barrel, which is locked by hooks relative to the fixed face of the receiver. Manual reloading by forearm lengthwise movement ensures reliable operation of the grenade launcher when using various types of ammunition. -

The grenade engages unsheltered manpower through fragmentation effects on the area having the shape of a sector with an angle of 170-190 deg and a radius of 5 meters and located on the part of the grenade head. -
30 mm automatic grenade launcher systemThe 30mm AGS-30 second-generation automatic grenade launcher system (6S9) is a weapon boasting a unique maneuverability, a high firepower, and a long range of fire. The grenade launcher may be mounted on a tripod or a turret, or used as part of a remotely controlled weapon system, mounted on various combat vehicles. The light weight of the grenade launcher ensures an outstanding mobility and allows it to be used by dismounted units in rugged and urban terrain. This is the first weapon of its class that can be carried by one man along with its tripod in either travelling or combat position. The AGS-30 fires different types of 30mm rounds as well. The accuracy of fire is ensures by the recoilless operation of the grenade launcher, the best suited rate of fire, and the unique design of the tripod, allowing the weapon to be fired from soft and unprepared surfaces. Tripod- and turret mounted versions are fitted with panoramic optical sights. Iron sights can also be used as an auxiliary means. At the request of the customer the AGS-30 can be equipped with a day/night sight, and a radar sight may be used to conduct surveillance and accurate fire in zero visibility.
